EnvironmentTaking care of the environmentThe green packaging has come to disappear From all sides, there are demands for minimisation and recycling of packaging and for materials that affect the environment as little as possible. Generally, there are demands that the packaging should be easy to dispose of again. ALPAP has manufactured packaging for the USA and all of Europe. We keep a close eye on development, which means that a packaging from ALPAP always complies with legislation in the distribution area. At the same time, ALPAP has had great success developing packaging that is well beyond the legislation and thereby also helps give the product and brand a particularly attractive environment profile.
Retail challenges The battle to be on the shelves in the large retail chains puts demands on the design of the packaging. The demand is double: The packaging must be a good seller and also disappear the moment it has done its job. The packaging should be independent and not wrapped in even more packaging, which only results in use of additional time, energy and money. Legislation decides Local governments as well as for example the EU legislate about the minimisation of packaging, the content of harmful substances, recycling and degree of return etc. Furthermore, there is a long line of organisations that work with labelling as symbols that the packaging complies with one or more demands beyond legislation. Consumers demand The growing number of consumers that are focused on the environment have more and more influence on what is taken down from the shelves. They wrinkle their nose at products that are not sold in a packaging that lives up to their expectations for materials and recycling. It is a must for packaging to always be adapted to and preferably surpass the expectations of the target group. Taking care of the environment is taking care of your brand |
